    If you enjoy working with team members whose defining characteristics are achievement, initiative, professionalism, responsiveness and adaptability, you may be the person we are seeking to join our Secretarial Department, in the Washington office, as an Assigned Secretary for our Global Mobility & Migration (GMM) practice group. 

     

    Responsibilities

     

    The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant from a corporate/professional services background. No law firm experience needed. This position will support three busy attorneys, as well as targeted support to the GMM practice in general to include travel arrangements and expenses for anyone on the team, as well as the areas listed below. 

     

    • Client:  Meetings, events, communications, mailings, business development
    • Attorney:  Scheduling, travel and entertainment, conference services, meeting materials, CLE, supplies, proofreading and facilitative communications, ad hoc
    • Billing:  Schedule/progress, bill review, mail out, pricing for database
    • Firm:  New engagements/conflicts, audit response, policies

    Qualifications

    Qualifications required for this position include:

    • Experience in working in a high volume environment, impeccable attention to detail, organization, strong customer orientation and sensitivity to corporate client and government deadlines.
    • Strong in computer fundamentals.  Proficient in MS Word; accurately type 62 wpm preferred.  Willingness to learn and effectively utilize technological advances.
    • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize assignments.  Effectively communicate and work with others.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 3 years experience required.
