    Responsibilities for this position include: Provides assistance to legal secretarial staff as well as attorneys.

     

    Essential Functions: Filing. Minor document editing. Preparation of expense reports. Preparation of new matter memoranda. Photocopying. Creation of labels. Assist with mailings, distributions and faxing. Answering telephones. Attorney time-entry (DTE). Binder assembly. Other projects and duties as assigned. Duties may vary for each assignment, floor or area of practice.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications required for this position include:

    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) required.
    • Typing of 50 WPM
    • Basic grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must be deadline oriented
    • Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and juggle multiple tasks
    • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
    • Must be customer service oriented
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Light lifting up to 25lbs
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 1+ year office experience preferred
